Jonathan has already been kicked out of eight boarding-schools. When he arrives at the boarding-school of the famous Thomanerchor in Leipzig, he is certain that he won't stay there for long, either. But the headmaster Justus takes Jonathan under his wing, and Jonathan makes friends with the boys of his dormitory. When they find the lyrics of a stage play called "Das fliegende Klassenzimmer" ("The flying classroom"), they are more than happy to rehearse the play for the upcoming christmas staging. However, they did not anticipate that by doing so they would reopen old wounds and start a chain of turbulent events...
